These crazy mittens took two tries. The first pair I made looked more like mountains than hills. And I thought they were a little plain. So for take 2, I included the winding roads into the colorwork. Toward the tips of the fingers, I didn't decrease as much and gathered the top. Next, I learned how to do the duplicate stitch for their faces. Working on this project off and on, it took me about a month. I love how the faces add some personality!
