This blanket was the first thread knits project that I started working on. I decided to challenge myself, with this being my first completed blanket in my knitting and crocheting portfolio. I began working on this about 3 weeks ago and have become so dedicated to its creation that I have dubbed it “my baby”. The day that I saw this t-shirt I went to the yarn store to purchase the black yarn and most of the different greens that I used, all of which is acrylic. I used a size 8/H to single crochet this entire blanket, excluding the border, which is double crochet. I created this without the use of any pattern or graph, relying only on my estimations made from looking at the design. My goal for this blanket, besides completing it, was to ensure that both sides of the blanket would be equally beautiful. I had so much fun making this blanket and cannot wait to submit my next entry!
