Ok, I have been crocheting for about a year now. My mom taught me to crochet when I was young, and I was amazed at how much I remembered. I mainly crochet plushies, use no patterns and do not write them down either.
This time however, I thought I would do something different. I really liked the Wolvesblood tee as wolves are very important to me. I had the chance to work with them, study them, and also met my fiance during this time.
Besides that I like challenges.
So I started out with collecting some wool I had laying around and chose 1 crochet hook (4mm bamboo). I flipped the image, and started with the nose. I tried to follow the image as much as I could. During the process one ball of wool was exchanged for a better colour.
The whole process took me about 15 hours and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I didn't go all too crazy with this design as I didn't want to ruin the original idea. Instead I used only wool I had and one crochet hook along with scissors. No needles or glue were used.
I plan to sew this piece to an old military blanket and hang it on the wall in the bedroom. It might still take a while before I find the right blanket though.
