To quote the artist, "Sinister Dexter is latin for left and right, evil and good, dark and light, yin yang - The whole concept is based on illuminated fairy tale books and the idea of good and evil in heraldry."

Joe Carr aka ISABOA created Sinister Dexter for his family as art for their home. It is beautiful and inspiring. Every time I look at it, I find a new creature, a new part of a story.

I had made a version of this hat once before, for someone in Joe's family. He gave me permission to recreate it, so I added some wings for ear flaps. It is a simple cap with a few extra details, but I'm sure it has its own story to tell.

Made in neon yellow, because most of Joe's design colors are inspired by pinball games.
