I am the mum of an almost two year old boy. My usual thing is felt toys but I have recently begun to experiment in crochet toys.
The idea of this challenge was very exciting as there are tons of Tees I love but in the end I chose my favourite design not only because I felt confident as a beginner crochet artist that I could manage it. As you will see in the extra photo's my son enjoyed it too and even tried to help in making it.
The wool is a felting wool so very chunky, but well suited to the technique of needle felting which I used to attach the red blushing cheeks and the white eyes. The eye spots and the eyebrows are stitched in with a silk black embroidery thread. He is about 15cm tall and in the end I didn't give him eight legs because he worked better with five.
