Graham Shephard aka Tonteau has a talent for tapping into things that can be appreciated by all ages, which is why I selected the design "Things That Glow" for this scarf. The design makes me smile; I wanted to extend that feeling into another medium.
I used Glow-In-The-Dark yarn for the rocket, true to the shirt (although near impossible to get a good picture showing said glow). If I had a rocket, I would want it to glow-in-the-dark so everyone could see me in the night sky.
The scarf is a single and 1.5 stitch (I think, although I still don't know how to read patterns) and rather long. The rocket is sewn in a twist so the pattern does not show through on the back. The star (pictured) is made by my son and suits the scarf perfectly.
