O hai.
So, I made this coexistence cowl. I thought the design was pretty cool and wanted to incorporate both halves of the design in my piece without it being mega-huge. I settled for a reversible cowl in blue, white and pink.
The yarn is 4ply sock yarn. Mostly wool with a bit of nylon. I bought it off two etsy sellers and I have enough to knit myself a pair of mittens or socks as well. I used 3.25mm needles and about 13 bobbins. It took me a month to knit this.
I was helping my mother at her work last Friday and I was sitting behind the counter, knitting. One of the regular customers came in, took a look at me knitting with my 13 bobbins and said "You're crazy. This is too complicated for me, good on you." This woman glues together miniature quilts and does petit point on muslin. I was stoked.
