Hi! This entry was inspired by the Extra Pulp Fiction tee, and was also a request from my husband. Ever supportive of my crochet endeavors, he immediately told me I HAD to do an amigurumi version of this tee! So, I did, and as an extra bonus, I made their suits beer coozies, which I think totally adds to the whole macho feel of this project!
The orange heads are of course crocheted separately and I had a whole bunch of frustration and fun figuring out how to do the hair! Jules's hair is done using single crochet and picots for almost every stitch! It took several days to figure out how to do it, but about an hour to complete. Vincent's hair was quite a bit easier to accomplish. Both characters have "wigs" which I've sewn to their orange heads.
Their faces and their suits are embroidered. The guns are simply felt gun shapes, and I drew the black on with magic marker! I then sewed the guns to their hands using orange yarn. The yarn I used was Red Heart Super Saver.
This project has been a ton of fun, and my husband is thrilled with the results. Once I'm ready to release them, he plans on taking them to his office and displaying them with his other amigurumi characters I've made him.
Jules: Vincent! We happy?
Vincent: Yeah, we happy.
