They were crying over spilt Milk... until crochet medic Dr. Dairy came along! After a Semi-skimmed Transfusion was complete, Milk was recovering with a lactose drip in hospital when his breakfast table mates; Spoon and Bowl, were allowed to visit.
I got the t-shirt a while back and always thought Milk deserved to be picked up, refilled and put back into the fridge. So when I found out about the competition (last Thursday actually... had to crochet non-stop the whole weekend), I thought Milk needed some TLC. Milk was assembled by 5 seperate crocheted pieces. I put some cardboard in there to make him look more 'boxy'. Bowl is a straight forward half sphere and Spoon is a pushed-in ball at the end of a crochet 'stick', propped up with a piece of wire from a clothes hanger. The blue curtain was an afterthought to make the scene look more hospital-like. Half a clothes hanger was also sacrified to make the curtain rails.
