Amazing and delightful shirts: Buy them!

Chris Cardinal runs Threadknits (with the amazing help of Charlie Festa over at Threadless, and others).

In 2007, he started a contest called Threadcakes, having run a Threadless fan blog called Loves Threadless. In 2009, Threadcakes had an insanely successful run with over 600 entries, 9,000 photos uploaded, and over 250,000 visitors and 1,000,000 pageviews.

Now we're trying something a bit different. With the help of Festa from Threadless (and Mig Reyes, who fleshed out the different design), we've come up with a contest concept based around knitting and crocheting that we think will rock whatever socks you can knit clean off. Threadless and a few other sponsors have been kind enough to donate prizes, which help make the contest all the more fun to win, but we think the contest is great just to enter!

About Chris Cardinal:

Chris is a 24-year-old web developer running a Tempe, Arizona web development/custom software firm. (He also edits their blog.)

He's run the Loves Threadless blog for a few years now, though doesn't get around to writing as often as he'd like. When he's not coding or caking, he likes drumming, traveling, photography, and tons of other pursuits.

Get in touch with him on Twitter or if you're having trouble or want to talk Threadknits, email him directly at: chriscardinal [at] gmail [dot] com.
